Collaborative problem-solving and individual support for real-world challenges

Accredited action learning-based facilitation

After over a decade working in public and third-sector organisations, I now facilitate reflective practice and problem-solving groups for staff, leaders, and service users, as well as offer 1-1 mentorship to support individual development.

Why?

With increased demands and stretched resources, we need to think creatively and insightfully about how we tackle challenges, whether that is improving employment rates, implementing new collaborations across teams or sectors, or improving the way we deliver services. I also value time and space for meaningful personal and professional growth, and believe this leads to better results.

What I do

I’m here to support the process of problem definition and solution development. I facilitate small groups using an approach grounded in design thinking and action learning, an evidence-based approach to delve deep into complex challenges, open space for insight, and most importantly, actionable change.

How group sessions work

  1. Bring a Challenge: You present a real issue or goal you are currently facing.

  2. Insightful Questioning: The group asks open, constructive questions to help you explore new angles and ideas, uncovering root causes and new solutions.

  3. Commit to Action: You develop concrete steps to take forward.

  4. Accountability and Reflection: You report back at the next session on what worked, what didn’t, and what you learned.

Who is it for?

Groups can be tailored to fit the needs of staff, networks, or service users in private, public, or third sector organisations.

Examples can include:

Project delivery staff - Support for burnout prevention, retention, and complex delivery challenges.

Leadership - Break down organisational silos, improve joint working and cross-sector alignment.

Service users - Build intrinsic motivation, peer accountability, and practical action plans.
